• Reliable and Durable Engine  - The heavy-duty industrial engine is built with a cast iron cylinder block and no HT wires, distributor caps, or rotors. It features super quick glow plugs for reliable cold starts and cleaner exhaust emissions by adjusting fuel injection timing based on water temperature. Emissions are further reduced by controlling fuel injection timing based on engine load. Performance optimization advancements include cooling on demand, load-sensing hydraulics, RPM management, and alternate engine idle speed to reduce fuel consumption in most applications. The ECO-eLo mode cuts energy consumption by up to 15% without sacrificing productivity compared to previous engines. The robust powertrain is computer-controlled and managed by the Pacesetter VSM™ onboard computer with a CANbus network. This system allows for performance adjustments and monitors key functions, simplifying diagnostics, minimizing repair downtime, and reducing unnecessary parts replacements.

• Vehicle System Manager - The electronically controlled DuraMatch™ transmission ensures smoother directional changes, reducing shock loading and extending the life of clutch packs. These transmissions, managed by the VSM, include innovative features like the Auto Deceleration System, which increases brake and tire lifespan, reducing operating costs. Choosing the Autospeed Hydraulics option automatically raises engine speed for full hydraulic power when lifting a load. The Pacesetter VSM maintains travel speed until the operator accelerates, eliminating the need for operator inching and streamlining operations for increased productivity and efficiency.

• Innovative Operator Compartment -The innovative cab design provides easy access, excellent visibility, and conveniently placed controls. Operator comfort is optimized with a full-suspension seat and an isolated powertrain that reduces whole-body vibration to just 0.6m/s². The infinitely adjustable tilt steering column allows operators to find a comfortable driving position easily. Seat side E-hydraulics, featuring TouchPoint™ mini-levers or cowl-mounted mechanical hydraulic levers, enhance operator comfort and reduce fatigue during extended shifts.

• Can Bus Technology  - The CAN bus system ensures the reliable operation of the truck, reducing wiring complexity and keeping wires away from heat sources. The use of non-contact Hall-Effect sensors and switches, sealed to IP66 standards, prevents water and debris ingress, making the truck pressure washable and designed to outlast the truck's life. The Hyster Fortens™ features a trouble-free hydraulic system with leak-free O-ring face seal fittings, reducing leaks and enhancing truck reliability while simplifying the wiring setup.

• High-Performance Hydraulic Filter  - A superior filtration system increases life span of all hydraulic components such as hoses and pumps and the aluminum core radiators and a superior counterweight tunnel design coupled with a “pusher” type fan provide the industry’s best cooling, ensuring that the truck operates at lower temperatures, which results in increased component life and limits the risk of overheating, particularly in heavy duty applications. In addition, the long term durability of the truck is enhanced by the available powertrain protection systems.
